AO 10 Language in labour relations02 oct. 2017
We tried to teach students use body language effectively in labour relations. That involved work on facial expression, recognizing aggressive, open or passive postures and acquiring ability to avoid some gestures and consciously replace them with more effective ones. Students discussed which of the advices should be followed and which avoided. Students performed assigned roles, they interpreted their body language and proposed changes in their behavior. As the result they learned how to manage their bodies, to decode and name body gestures and facial expressions. We made a short photo session showing both correct and incorrect body postures. Dring the next activity we discussed how people shoud behave in different situations: hosting, as guests, as a neighbour, as a student, being on the train, sitting at the table. We tried to compare Romanian and Polish good manners.
