-to work as a team to research and present information on how best to present yourself in order to be successful in a job interview.
During the mobility in Romania, students received a lesson on how to be successful in a job interview. They sat through a short presentation and watched a video on how best to complete a job interview and how not to complete a job interview.
Students were then split into groups to research the do's and don'ts of completing a job interview, in regards to body language. One half of the class focused on the do's and the other half focused on the don'ts.
Each group was given particular aspect of body language to research, for example clothes, facial expressions, hand gestures and body movements.
Once they had finished, they presented their findings to the rest of the class, either consisting of a poster, advice or example scenarios acted out by students.
Students learned how best to work as a team to complete a set amount of work in a short amount of time, taking responsibility for different jobs.
They learnt about the importance of how you present yourself during a formal setting, such as a job interview, and what the do’s and don’ts are concerning body language, hand gestures and attire.
