A group of pupils from the college Boris VIan went to the Bateau Feu and enjoyed a Moliere’s representation. Amphitryon is a light comedy joyfully. Between misunderstandings, pretences and bounces, Molière invents a mythological imagination with great show, where the gods go down on ground and take the appearance of human to love their wives. Manipulators, they sow confusion and have fun at the expense of human, deceived from beginning to end and incompetents to distinguish truth from false. The director Guy-Pierre Couleau wished to restore the dimension of “part with machine” in the prologue: presence of a cloud on which Mercury rests, flights, disappearances, appearances requiring of the machineries complex and suitable to create effects of magic for the spectator. Using current technologies around the image and of the sound, it succeeds in producing this magic as of the rising of the curtain which reveals a spectacular cosmic: installation above a black floor symbolizing the ground, where will be introduced the gods to mislead the human ones. With a troop of excellent actors exploiting the mode of the commedia dell' arte, the misunderstandings are connected at speed of light. The distribution full with accuracy and splendid work on the light, the costumes and the sung and danced musics, made this production one moment of pure theatrical happiness.
