Our pupils had a healthy eating workshop during their mobility Erasmus+ Body in Hull.
The French students with their partner cooked a balanced meal : chicken goujons and potatoes. A teacher gave them instructions and helped them : they cut chicken fillets into strips, placed the chicken in a bag with mixed herbs and flour. Then they dipped each strip in beaten egg and bread crumbs. Finally they baked them in the oven. When the chicken strips were cooked, the students tasted them. The meal tasted delicious. The students cooked again this meal when they were back in France.
This activity gave the students the opportunity to discuss nutrition issues, to make out how to have a healthy and well-balanced diet. They also experienced teamwork and cooperation.
The benefits of teamwork include increased efficiency, the ability to focus different minds on the same problem, and mutual support.
