Our pupils had an art lesson during their mobility Erasmus+Body in Hull.

The teacher presented to the students four works of art from different artistic movements:

Pink peach tree by Vincent Van Gogh, Autumn Trees by David Hockney, General Dynamic by Eduardo Paolozzi and M-Maybe by Roy Lichtenstein.

First, the students with their partner studied and described precisely each artist's technique.

Later, from a picture based on the idea of the drawing of the Vitruvian Man by Leonardo Da Vinci, in groups of four, the students got organized and completed all four sections of the picture, using ideas based on the techniques used by each artist : pointillism, photomontage, collage and pop-art.

The purpose of this lesson was to identify different artistic styles and to find ideas to recreate them in an appropriate way.

The activity developed the student's artistic sense and enabled them to work in close cooperation with the others with a common creative purpose
