The students worked in pairs and chose among the suggested decades (30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and today 2016). They had to select photos representing two women, two men and children in elegant casual wear, and in beachwear (because it was connected to the family seaside activity of their region, this outfit also allowed to see the evolution of the way the body is revealed according to periods of time and sex)

-Then, we asked them to look for photos from those decades in their personal family albums at home and bring them to school.

-During the last session, the slideshows from each group of two were presented to the others, and the best pictures worth keeping for each decade were selected.

-Finally, the students wrote short texts for their pictures.

The pupils were independent and active. They understood the aims of the activity very well.

The group work was very productive.

A slideshow was made.
