Motivation workshop activities

A good mental condition is a guarantee of a harmonious life and ability of recognizing and managing one’s emotions is likely to provide us a stable frame of mind. Thus, we organized special classes for students of a sport class. The workshops conducted by Danuta Racławska, were customized to our needs and involved activities which allowed for developing emotional intelligence, learning how to enhance psychological abilities of coping in a difficult situations and adapting some healthy, regenerative practices. The coach taught them how to trace the process of exploiting their own emotions in tough situations and, after that, proposed methods helping us to restore our emotional resources. The second part of the workshop was self-coaching and building our self-esteem. The students analyzed goals and ways of achieving them. They chose their own SMART objectives, specific, measureable, achievable, relevant and time-bound. A coach was supervising them and advising on the choice of the proper goals. Finally they shared stories about difficult situations they had gone through. All the activities contributed to developing self-confidence, motivation, a sense of purpose and fostered climate of efficient communication. After the workshops students wrote essays in which they expressed how they feel about their motivation and how they can tackle any possible obstacles.
